Trump Consults Daughter of OJ Simpson’s Lawyer About Prison Reform

May 31, 2018

Kim Kardashian West met with President Donald Trump and other prison experts, including senior adviser Jared Kushner, at the White House on Wednesday to discuss prison reform.

"Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing," tweeted Trump following their meeting, posting a picture alongside Kardashian in the Oval Office.

Kim Kardashian is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, who gained national recognition as OJ Simpson's friend and defense attorney during Simpson's 1995 murder trial.  OJ Simpson was famously found innocent of double homicide after paying Robert Kardashian and a dream team of lawyers to convince a jury that mounds of evidence including DNA were not admissible.

Kim Kardashian and Donald Trump did not disclose specifics as to what was discussed, but sources claim the talks focused around the following:

  1. Stopping rich people who use expensive lawyers to walk away from crimes or have their sentences reduced.
  2. Helping poor people who cannot afford lawyers who wish to fight for their innocence instead of pleading guilty in a plea deal.
  3. The disproportionate amount of minorities in prison, in particular blacks and Latinos, and its relationship with police racial profiling and the war on drugs.
  4. The classist system of posting bail.
  5. Problems inherent in a for-profit privatized prison system.
  6. Our society’s focus on retributive justice instead of restorative justice.
  7. The nomination of political activist, academic, and author Angela Davis as the new Secretary of Prison Reform, the one who Trump should have invited to the meeting in the first place.

Just kidding!

They talked about how this would troll everyone and how many tweets their photo would get.

As the topic veered toward whether or not prisons are a good place to make sex tapes with rappers, Trump grew excited and they continued the meeting behind closed doors.
