Music is Dead. Film is Dead. Books are Dead. Long Live the Spark.

This is America - in minor key.

The noise can feel hollow.

I haven’t read a novel in ages.

A movie is too long to shut off my phone.  Clips, 2 minutes, or less.

Gorgeous music shuffles by, moving me out of time and context.

I’ve been bitten these past ten-thousand years.  I don’t feel your teeth now.

Your tides crash strongly, new moon.

Yet here we are together in this verse.

Traction in the mud.

A prayer into the vast vast... no golden idols, just two hands folded together, skin touching skin, friction and fire.

Somewhere there is hope.
